Republic Brewing Company, located at Old Fire Hall, 26 Clark Avenue here in Republic offers a wide variety of “home-grown” brews as well as handcrafted sodas and ciders. The Brewery is open Wednesday through Thursday 2PM-9PM, Friday 2PM-10PM, Saturday 12PM-10PM and Sunday 12PM-5PM. With their new expansion, the Brewery is looking to be open 6 days a week.

While their brews are something to be exceptionally famous for, that’s not all this pub has to offer. Republic Brewing Company hosts many events to keep townsfolk warm during the winter; such as Paints and Pints, Thursday Trivia and a variety of live bands to let loose with. Their activities pick up in the summer months with more live bands to entertain our locals and tourists.

Emily Burt, co-owner of RBC said: “It’s not just about the beer, it’s about bringing the community together.”

Since opening the Brewery in June 2011, Billy and Emily Burt have garnered enough business to work on an expansion, thanks in part to a loan from the Tri County Economic Development District.

“We’re passionate about beer”, said co-owner Billy Burt. With the expansion of a new bathroom and a larger brewing system they hope to have installed by May, their passion clearly shows.
